Your stylist has the knowledge of when exactly you will need your maintenance appointments as everybody is different. However, the list below illustrates the different hair extension categories and approximately how often your maintenance should be…
Approximately every 8 to 10 weeks (excluding Flat Tips as these last longer being an adhesive method).
As Tape Tabs for Tape hair extensions keep the extension in place for approximately 10 to weeks, maintenance appointments will usually be required during this period for retaping and reapplication.
Depending on your hair and the application method your stylist has used for your Weft hair extensions, approximately your maintenance appointments should be every 8 to 10 weeks.
Everybody is different so your stylist can give you the best guidance on the frequency of your maintenance appointments as this depends on your personal hair density and your rate of hair growth.
